Kreyòl voice API

Your app speaks Kreyòl.
And hears it too.

Natural Haitian Creole text to speech with 13 Fatiman voices, and Kreyòl speech to text with Oswald. Two simple HTTP routes and one API key: try them in the Studio, then build them into your own product.

Start free, then pay as you go.

  • 5 free minutes every month
  • Then $0.015 (2 HTG) a minute, billed per second
  • Pay with MonCash or card
Two models, one API

Kreyòl read aloud, Kreyòl written down.

Fatiman reads Kreyòl aloud, Oswald writes it down. One key, one credit balance, two simple requests.

Text to speech

Fatiman reads your text aloud.

Send Kreyòl text and get a WAV file back, read in a natural Haitian voice.

  • 13 voices: nine belong to Haitian speakers who gave their consent, four new ones were made from them
  • Three models, v1, v2 and V3, the most natural in our tests
  • Numbers, dates, prices and phone numbers read the way people say them
  • Up to 1,200 characters per request; send long text in pieces and play each one as it arrives

Fanm 1 · V3

Text in

Speech to text

Oswald writes down what it hears.

Send a recording and get the Kreyòl text back as JSON, with punctuation and capitals.

How it works

Three steps to your first request.

Every option in the docs
  1. 1

With your email or phone number. We send you a one-time code, so there is no password to remember.

  2. 2

    Make a key

In your dashboard, under API keys. A key is shown only once; you can have up to 10 and revoke any of them at any time.

  3. 3

    Call the API

Send the key in the Authorization header. Text in, WAV out; audio in, JSON out. Every call answers directly, with no job to poll.

curl -X POST https://lambbi.vercel.app/api/tts \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $LAMBBI_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"text": "Bonjou! Ki jan ou ye jodi a?", "voice": "female1", "model": "v3"}' \
  -o bonjou.wav

Keep your key secret: call the API from your server, never from a web page.

Both models learned Haitian Creole from real Kreyòl speech, not through French. Use them wherever your users would rather hear and speak than read and type.
